The sustainability efforts of Erdemir Çelik Servis Merkezi are inspired by the Sustainability Strategy of its, the OYAK, which is based on the principle of “creating more value with fewer resources”, as well as the company's dedication to respect the needs of future generations and preserve the conditions for the peaceful coexistence of humans and nature.

Just like all other OYAK companies, Erdemir Çelik Servis Merkezi is aware that the sustainability of our living standards, welfare, economic competitiveness, employment and the ecosystem depends on the continued existence of shared natural resources. Sustainability Targets

Steel is the most important engineering and construction material in the modern world. Used in every aspect of our lives, it is indispensable to further growth and development. Steel will continue to play a significant role in sustainable development in the next century. Practices undertaken by the steel industry, which plays an essential role in the development of humanity, to meet the global steel demand in a sustainable way support green economy, which is defined by the UN Environment Program as a “model which results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities”.

Erdemir, the flagship of our Group, which has been expanding its capacity since starting its operations in 1965, is growing in a sustainable manner for all of its stakeholders with its robust economic performance, environmental sensitivity, and commitment to meeting expectations of its employees and the community.

Sustainability is one of the pillars of corporate management approach of our Group. Accordingly, the production technologies used by Erdemir Çelik Servis Merkezi, continuous improvement of energy and resource efficiency and mitigation of environmental impacts offer the innovative solutions required by client industries.
