Türkiye's largest steel service center in terms of capacity and the industry's leading service provider, Ersem, has launched a new line at its Manisa facility.
Ersem, which provides sizing and storage services to many customers, primarily in the white goods sector in the Aegean region, has begun production on the cold cut-to-length line at its Manisa facility. In 2022, the project to transfer the STAM brand cut-to-length line with available capacity from our Gebze facility to Manisa was completed, along with an investment in a new domestic cold rolling line at the Gebze facility.
Together with our Erdemir Engineering Company, the STAM brand cold cut-to-length line from the Gebze Ersem facility was moved to the Manisa Ersem facility and has been put into operation. As a result, with the collaboration of Erdemir Engineering’s expertise and experienced teams, along with Ersem’s operational experience, the production line is now seamlessly providing services to regional customers.
Ersem, which adopts a production model focused on environmental sensitivity and sustainability, has expanded its range of machinery to better serve its customers.
Thanks to the solar power plant (SES) that was launched in the last quarter of 2021, Ersem Manisa now meets all of its energy needs with renewable energy. In addition to providing flat steel slitting and storage services to customers in the Aegean region, Ersem has expanded its product range by adding cut-to-length painted sheet services, thereby continuing to provide a competitive advantage for Erdemir products.
